1. Electromagnetic coil
Function: Electromagnetic coil is the key component of electromagnetic jack to generate magnetic field. When the current passes through the coil, according to the law of electromagnetic induction, a magnetic field is generated around it. This magnetic field is the basis for the electromagnetic jack to adsorb ferromagnetic objects. The strength of the magnetic field generated by the coil is directly related to the current size and the number of turns of the coil. By increasing the current or the number of turns of the coil, the magnetic field strength can be increased, thus increasing the lifting force of the jack. For example, when lifting heavy steel components, a strong enough magnetic field is needed to ensure that the components can be stably adsorbated, which requires the electromagnetic coil to provide a large enough magnetic force.
Material characteristics: Electromagnetic coils are generally wound by well-insulated copper wires. Copper has good electrical conductivity, which can effectively reduce the loss of electric energy in the transmission process. At the same time, in order to prevent the coil from being damaged by the heat generated by the current during the working process, the insulation layer of the wire needs to have high temperature resistance. Commonly used insulation materials such as polyester enamelled wire, which can maintain good insulation performance at a higher temperature to ensure the normal operation of the coil.
Car Lifting Magnet Function: The iron core is located inside the electromagnetic coil, and its main role is to enhance the magnetic field. Iron cores are generally made of materials with high permeability, such as electrical pure iron. When the magnetic field is generated by the electromagnetic coil, the core is magnetized, and the magnetic domains inside it are aligned along the direction of the magnetic field, thus enhancing the magnetic field. This enhancement allows the electromagnetic jack to generate a strong enough magnetic field at a small current, improving energy efficiency.
