Working Principle:

Hydraulic gantry shears work on the principle of hydraulic transmission. When the equipment starts, the oil pump starts to operate, the hydraulic oil in the tank is sucked and pressurized, and the high-pressure oil is transported to the hydraulic cylinder through the tubing. In the hydraulic cylinder, the high pressure oil pushes the piston, causing the piston to produce a linear motion, which in turn drives the movable blade connected to it. When the scrap metal material is placed between the blade, the strong shear force formed by the movable blade and the fixed blade overcomes the shear strength of the metal, thus cutting the metal material.
