Structure Composition:
1. Helix: composed of a rotating shaft and a spiral plate welded on the shaft, it is a key component for conveying materials. The spiral plate has left and right rotation, the number of heads has a single head, two heads or three heads, and the outer diameter is usually 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 1000, 1250 and other sizes. According to the type and nature of the material to be transported, the spiral blade is divided into three forms: solid spiral, belt spiral and blade spiral.
2. Groove: generally made of thin steel plate, its thickness depends on the diameter of the spiral and the size of the grinding property of the material to be transported. The lower part of the groove is semi-circular, the inner diameter of the cylindrical part is slightly larger than the spiral diameter, the feed port is opened on the groove cover, and the discharge port is opened at the bottom of the groove.
Conveyor Equipment, Belt Conveyor, Feeder 3. Drive device: generally composed of motor, reducer and coupling, etc., used to drive the spiral shaft to rotate and provide power for the conveyor. The common motor has JO2 motor, the reducer has JZQ type or ZH type, etc., and the coupling has elastic coupling, cross slider coupling, etc.
4. Bearing device: including suspension bearing and end bearing. The suspension bearing is installed at the connection of the two sections of the helix, which is used to support the connection shaft connecting the two sections of the helix, to ensure the coaxiality of each section of the helix, and to withstand the quality of the helix. The end bearings are installed at both ends of the spiral, the head unit bearing adopts thrust type single row tapered roller bearing, and the tail bearing generally adopts double row radial spherical bearing.
Working Principle:
The working principle of the
Screw Conveyor is to use a shaft with spiral blades to rotate in a closed chute to push the material movement. After the material enters the fixed groove of the screw conveyor from the feed port, when the drive device drives the screw shaft to turn, the material in the material groove cannot rotate with the screw due to the internal friction between its mass and particles and the external friction between the groove wall, but by the axial driving force of the screw, it can only move forward along the groove, and the material is discharged when it reaches the discharge port.
