Metal Steel Recycling Shredder Machine

Working Principle：

The metal shavings shredder relies on the motor to provide initial power, which is then transmitted to the knife shaft equipped with special knives after being decelerated and torque-increased by the reducer. When the metal shavings enter the shredding chamber, the high-speed rotating knives break them into small pieces with powerful shearing, tearing and squeezing effects. The knives are arranged in a staggered manner, simulating the shearing action, tearing and squeezing action of scissors, effectively processing metal shavings.

Structural Composition：

1. Feeding system: It consists of a feeding hopper and a conveying device. The feeding hopper is designed to be large, which is convenient for the metal shavings to enter quickly. Some feeding hoppers are also equipped with a vibration device to ensure that the material slides down smoothly. The conveying device is commonly a conveyor belt or a Screw Conveyor, which feeds the material into the shredding chamber at a uniform speed to ensure stable feeding.

2. Shredding chamber: As the core working area, it is made of high-strength wear-resistant steel plates and can withstand huge impact forces. The knife shaft and the knife are installed inside. The knife shaft is specially heat-treated to enhance strength and wear resistance. The knife is made of high-quality alloy steel and is treated with special processes. It has high hardness, toughness and good wear resistance. The knife design is unique and the arrangement is optimized to improve shredding efficiency.

3. Power system: It is mainly composed of a motor and a reducer. The motor power depends on the equipment model and processing capacity, and provides power for the equipment to operate. The reducer converts the high speed of the motor into a low speed of the knife shaft, and at the same time increases the torque, so that the knife can effectively shred the metal shavings.

4. Discharging system: A discharging port is set at the bottom of the shredding chamber, and the crushed materials are discharged from it. The discharging port is often connected to a conveyor belt or other conveying equipment to transport the materials to a designated location for subsequent processing, such as further screening, smelting, etc.

5. Control system: It consists of operating buttons, PLC controllers, sensors, etc. The operating buttons facilitate operators to start and stop the equipment, control the feed speed, knife shaft speed, etc. The PLC controller receives sensor signals and controls the equipment operation according to the preset program to achieve automatic operation. The sensor monitors the equipment operating parameters in real time, such as motor current, temperature, knife shaft speed, etc., and promptly alarms and shuts down the equipment in case of abnormalities to ensure equipment safety.
